THIS IS A FREELANCE ROLE TO WORK ON INSTRUCTION BASIS AND PROVIDE COMMENTARY ON THE WORK CARRIED BY THE SOLICITOR

THE BARRISTER MUST BE A ALL ROUND LITIGATOR

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Barrister to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, representing clients in court, and negotiating on their behalf. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated legal professional to contribute to a reputable organisation and develop their career within the legal sector. Candidates must possess strong advocacy skills, a thorough understanding of legal procedures, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Duties

Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and negotiations.
Provide comprehensive legal advice tailored to clients' specific circumstances.
Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, and briefs.
Negotiate settlements and other agreements on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes.
Conduct legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
Collaborate with solicitors, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and case management.
Maintain detailed records of case progress and ensure deadlines are met efficiently.

Requirements

Qualified Barrister with membership of the Bar of England and Wales.
Proven experience in litigation, advocacy, and client negotiations.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous outcomes for clients.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in preparing legal documentation.
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to present complex information clearly.
A proactive approach with the ability to analyse situations critically and provide strategic advice. This position offers an engaging environment for a motivated legal professional eager to make a meaningful impact within the legal community.
Min 3 years post qualification experience

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £50.00-£150.00 per hour
