STATIC SECURITY GUARDS REQUIRED IN BIRMINGHAM.

Students are welcome to apply this role.

We are seeking 50 vigilant and proactive Static Security Guards to join our team in East London for our new sites. This essential role involves maintaining a secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and assets. As a Static Security Guard, you will be the first line of defense, providing a visible security presence and responding swiftly to any incidents or emergencies. Your dedication will help foster a safe, welcoming atmosphere while safeguarding company property and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

Responsibilities

Monitor designated premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
Control access points by verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services as necessary.
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings accurately.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure thorough documentation.
Perform basic first aid when needed, providing assistance in medical emergencies until professional help arrives.

Requirements

SIA Door Supervisor badge.
IHQ Safety Certifications or willingness to obtain before joining.
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors.
A responsible attitude with a focus on safety, confidentiality, and integrity.
