Job Title: Hotel Receptionist

Location: The Coal Exchange Hotel, Cardiff
Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 0-32 hours a week. Based on 0hr contract.

About Us:
The Coal Exchange Hotel is a welcoming and historic hotel dedicated to providing exceptional service and a memorable experience for every guest. We are currently seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
Manage reservations via phone, email, and online booking systems.
Provide guests with information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
Respond promptly to guest enquiries and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
Assist with administrative tasks as required, including billing and reporting.
Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Person Specification:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
Proficiency in using booking systems, Microsoft Office, and email communication.
