Production Operative – Fortress Diagnostics Limited

We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated Production Operatives to join our dynamic team. If you have experience working in a manufacturing or production environment and are looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced setting, we want to hear from you! Immediate starts are available for the right candidates.

Job Summary:

As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality production standards and efficiency in all tasks. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Dispensing and labelling products with precision and attention to detail.
Accurately completing required documentation and paperwork to ensure compliance with production standards.
Coordinating and communicating effectively with internal departments to maintain workflow efficiency.
Assisting the production team in various operational tasks to meet production targets.
Maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency .
Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
Operating production machinery and equipment safely and effectively (training provided if necessary).
Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the production area.
Performing heavy lifting and physical tasks as required.
Taking on any additional duties assigned by the Production Manager or Line Manager.

Skills & Requirements:

We are looking for individuals with the following attributes:

Strong multi-tasking abilities and a proactive approach to work.
Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good literacy and numeracy skills to complete paperwork and understand work instructions.
Fluent in English (both spoken and written) to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
A hardworking and committed attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Physically fit with the ability to perform tasks that involve prolonged standing and heavy lifting.
Flexible and available for overtime when required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
