ob Title: Clinical Receptionist and Booking Clerk

Hours: Monday – Friday between 8am - 5pm (FT & PT positions available)

Location: Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT

Trust Location: Cross site working

Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Armthorpe Road, Doncaster, DN2 5LT

Bassetlaw District General Hospital, Kilton Hill, Worksop, S81 0BD

Mexborough Montagu Hospital, Adwick Rd, Mexborough, S64 0AZ

Retford Hospital, North Rd, Retford, DN22 7XF

Contract Type: Temporary – 3 months

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Provide a booking service.

· To schedule appointments.

· Change or cancel appointments at the request of the patient or manager.

· Arrange patient transport and interpreters for outpatient appointments where appropriate.

· Process all referrals received.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust.

· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Previous experience of working within customer service.

· Previous experience of working within a reception role.

· Previous experience of working within an NHS role.
