Full job description

Account Manager – Temla Laser

Temla Laser is a growing manufacturing business specialising in laser cutting, CNC bending and fabrication.

We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow customer relationships, drive sales growth and ensure projects are delivered successfully from enquiry through to completion.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who understands both the commercial and operational side of manufacturing. You'll be expected to build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities, prepare quotations and work closely with production to ensure customer expectations are met.

We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and add value from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing and developing a portfolio of customer accounts
Building strong, long-term customer relationships
Preparing and following up quotations
Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts
Generating new business opportunities within target sectors
Managing projects from enquiry through to delivery
Working closely with production to ensure customer requirements are achieved
Attending customer meetings and site visits when required
Resolving customer issues quickly and professionally
Meeting revenue and growth targets
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

What We're Looking ForEssential

Previous experience in an Account Management, Sales or Business Development role
Experience within sheet metal manufacturing, laser cutting, fabrication or engineering
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
Knowledge of laser cutting, CNC bending and fabrication services
Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Self-motivated, organised and results-driven

Desirable

Experience reading engineering drawings
Exposure to CAD or technical manufacturing products
Existing industry contacts or network
Experience working with procurement teams, engineers and manufacturers
