Overview

Restaurant on the end of Worthing Pier

Ebb is an intimate, high-end new opening focused on stunning seasonal small plates, exceptional wines and refined cocktails in a unique coastal setting.

We’re building a small, quality-driven team and are looking for a hands-on bartender.

About You

Experience in a premium restaurant
Strong wine knowledge (WSET desirable)
Cocktail experience
Weekend and evening availability essential
Friday and Saturday evenings

This role is perfect for someone passionate about seasonal food, great wine and delivering exceptional service.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Manage multiple drink orders efficiently using proper time management skills to keep service smooth during busy hours.
Restock bar supplies as needed, monitor inventory levels, and communicate supply needs to management proactively.
Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive, energetic atmosphere that promotes excellent service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings, with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices.
Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service periods effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.
Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and current industry trends is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A friendly attitude combined with professionalism to create a welcoming environment for all patrons.
