I-Tech Centre, is an IT hardware repair, maintenance and selling workshop.

Our primary focus has always been quality of service which is why we are now looking to expand our team. We have some interesting developments in mind for the future of the company and would like to develop with a strong efficient team and move forward.

We are a multicultural friendly company, based in Worthing.

Job description

Our primary focus is the quality service we provide. IT Technicians operate and maintain phones, computer systems and networks to ensure that the concerned people get the most effective IT functionality. Some of their main duties and responsibilities include:

-Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the shop

-Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of phones, computer and network systems

-Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues

-Repairing and replacing damaged phones, computer, electronic and network components

-Ensuring the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software

-Supporting people whenever they encounter challenges with phones, computers and network devices

- Maintain quality control of work

- Work independently when required

- Have a clear logical mind set for problem solving

- Follow instructions and undertake other reasonable duties, when required, as dictated by circumstances and directed by management

- Outstanding communication and organisational skills

-Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly

- Ensure that all pertinent repair and testing tools and appliances are in proper working condition, and continuously maintained

- Determine parts to be replaced and provide cost estimates to the admin and to the customer prior to starting any work.

-Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation.

-Find and develop new business via cold calling, lead follow ups, and general customer interaction

-Support customers with the on-boarding of their new account

-Develop trustable relationships with a portfolio of customers to maintain and improve profitability

-Simplify the customer experience by ensuring close management of any trouble they may encounter

-Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements, expanding relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet the customer's needs

-When on site must comply with all I - Tech Centre Worthing policies and procedures

The hours will be 9:30am-5pm Monday-Saturday, subject to contract.
