Full job description

Teach A Trade is a growing technical training provider delivering gas, electrical, renewable energy, refrigeration and construction-related qualifications.

Due to internal promotions, we are looking for an organised and proactive Centre Coordinator/Administrator to support the smooth running of our training centre and provide a professional service to learners, employers, trainers and external organisations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate course bookings, learner enrolments, assessments and training schedules.
Issue joining instructions and manage attendance, cancellations and rescheduling.
Maintain accurate learner, assessment, funding and certification records.
Prepare course files, registers, assessment paperwork and certification claims.
Respond to telephone, email, website and face-to-face enquiries.
Liaise with learners, tutors, assessors, employers, awarding organisations and funding partners.
Monitor outstanding learner documentation and follow up actions.
Produce reports on attendance, progress, achievement and feedback.
Support exam invigilation, audits, quality-assurance visits and compliance requirements.
Assist with room preparation, course materials and general centre administration.
Support the Centre Manager, sales team and wider business when required.

Skills and Experience

Previous administrative experience within education, training or a similar environment.
An administration or business administration qualification, ideally at Level 2 or Level 3.
Strong organisational, communication and customer-service skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
Experience using databases, learner-management or booking systems.
GCSEs or equivalent in English and mathematics.

Working Hours - 8.00 - 16.30

Knowledge of the construction, gas, electrical, renewable energy or building-services sectors would be advantageous. Experience with awarding organisations, funded training, learner registrations, examinations or certification would also be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be reliable, professional, approachable and able to work both independently and as part of a busy team.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
