Business Development Representative (Part-Time)

Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex
Hours: Part-Time (20–25 hours per week – flexible)
Salary: Competitive hourly rate + performance-related bonus

As our business continues to grow, we're expanding our services beyond managed print to include business telecoms, IT support, connectivity, mobile and energy solutions. We're now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to help us continue that growth.

This isn't a hard sales role.

We're looking for someone who can represent our company, build relationships, identify opportunities and arrange meetings with prospective customers. Our experienced directors will take care of proposals, quotations and closing the business.

About the Role

As one of the faces of Copylink, you'll play an important role in representing our business throughout the local community. You'll become a familiar face at networking events, local businesses and community initiatives, helping to strengthen our reputation while creating new opportunities for the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

Building relationships with local businesses and key decision-makers.
Prospecting new customers through telephone, email and face-to-face visits.
Booking qualified appointments for our directors.
Representing Copylink at networking events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, business exhibitions and local events.
Supporting and promoting local charities, community projects and initiatives that align with our values.
Developing referral partnerships with accountants, solicitors, estate agents, IT providers and other local businesses.
Identifying opportunities for our managed print, telecoms, IT, connectivity, mobile and business energy services.
Following up marketing campaigns and customer enquiries.
Maintaining accurate records within our CRM system.
Acting as a professional ambassador for Copylink, helping to strengthen our reputation as one of the area's most trusted local businesses.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Loves meeting people and building genuine relationships.
Is confident, friendly and approachable.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is self-motivated and enjoys working independently.
Is organised and able to manage their own workload.
Enjoys networking and becoming involved within the local community.
Has experience in business development, customer service, networking or sales (preferred but not essential).
Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
