Full job description

Location: Aldershot, Surrey

Contract: Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: £27,131 per annum basic plus commission with OTE up to £55,000 per annum

Hours: 44 hours per week (including 1 in 3 Saturdays)

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 1:00pm

We're currently looking for a professional and motivated Van Sales Executive to joins us based at our Aldershot site.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving new and used van sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Mercedes-Benz brand.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive looking to develop their career with a renowned premium brand and well-established dealership.

Key Responsibilities

Sell and promote new and used Mercedes-Benz vans in line with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Achieve individual sales targets and key performance objectives.
Build, maintain and develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Proactively generate new business opportunities and maximise sales within your customer base.
Identify customer requirements and recommend the most suitable vehicles, products and services.
Deliver outstanding customer service, recognising the importance of repeat business and customer loyalty.
Manage your diary effectively to maximise appointments, customer contact and sales opportunities.
Ensure all sales administration is completed accurately and in line with company and manufacturer requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role you'll have:

Essential

Previous vehicle sales experience within a commercial vehicle dealership.
Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
A proactive, professional and self-motivated approach.
Ability to work towards and achieve sales targets.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

Two years' commercial vehicle sales experience.
Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle sales experience.
Experience of developing long-term customer relationships and generating repeat business.
