Full job description

We have an excellent opportunity for a part time Receptionist to join our Pontypool office, working 10am - 2pm Monday - Friday.

Day to day you will be expected to carry out reception duties such as answering the telephone, greeting clients and arranging appointments as well as preparing quotes, opening files and inputting client data.

We are looking for a motivated individual with good organisational skills and the ability to balance receptionist and routine secretarial tasks. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative team.

You will be working with a business which is committed to the highest levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

To be the first point of contact for new clients and to deal with their initial enquiries both face to face and on the telephone.
Opening and allocating new matter files.
Assisting in keeping the office clean and tidy and the reception areas stocked with literature.
Ensuring the visitor meeting room is kept clean and tidy - table clean, water refreshed, clean glasses, etc.
Receiving, sorting and scanning incoming post and hand delivering the same to the teams.
Handling outgoing post.
Ensure confidentiality and discretion in matters relating to work and clients.
Supporting and assisting the teams with administrative tasks.
Delivering high standards of client care.

To undertake any other duties as may be required by the management team in relation to the general running of the office.

Essential Skills

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the team and wider business.
A positive approach and a strong work ethic.

Salary minimum wage, pro rata.
