Cole Security Services Ltd has been protecting people, property, and businesses across Greater Manchester and the North West since 2006. We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly motivated Site Security Manager to lead the delivery of security services. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing on-site security operations, developing and supporting security personnel, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery, and building strong relationships with our client to ensure a safe and secure environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and motivated Site Security Manager to lead the delivery of security services at a prestigious site. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills, operational experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest security standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day security operation, leading the on-site security team, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and building strong relationships with both the client and internal management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily operation of the site's security services.
Supervise, motivate, and monitor the performance of all site security officers.
Conduct monthly Quality Inspection Reports and Site Audits, reporting findings to the Operations Manager.
Identify training needs and support the ongoing development of all security personnel.
Carry out staff appraisals and performance reviews.
Ensure all site keys, security equipment, and documentation are properly managed and accounted for.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and personnel matters where required.
Report serious incidents and accidents involving security personnel to senior management.
Ensure all officers maintain high standards of appearance, professionalism, and customer service.
Conduct site risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures.
Manage major incidents and liaise with emergency services when necessary.
Maintain accurate site records and ensure all administration is completed correctly and on time.
Build and maintain excellent working relationships with the client and site management.
Support daily operations and assist the Scheduling Team with emergency shift cover when required.
Prepare operational reports, presentations, and management information.

Essential Requirements

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
Valid CCTV Licence.
Previous experience managing security operations within a commercial, corporate, industrial, or public sector environment.
Experience in logistics (desirable).
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience conducting investigations, audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Strong report writing and administrative skills.
Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure.
Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and security best practice.
Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Full UK Driving Licence (desirable depending on location).
