Line Chef / Chef de Partie – Loco Lime Wandsworth

£13–£14 per hour depending on experience | Full-time and part-time available | New restaurant opening 15 August 2026 | Near Wandsworth Town station

Join Loco Lime as we launch our first London restaurant in Wandsworth on 15 August 2026.

Located at New Acres, close to Wandsworth Town station, Loco Lime is a fast-growing, chef-led Mexican-inspired street food brand. We’re looking for reliable Line Chefs / Chefs de Partie to join our opening kitchen team.

Our menu includes birria tacos, burritos, quesadillas, rice bowls, loaded fries and nachos. We prepare our ingredients fresh, slow-cook our meats and make bold sauces before serving everything quickly and consistently during service.

The food is fast, fresh and made properly, with clean sections, strong preparation and high standards. This isn’t fine dining, but it is a proper kitchen run by people who care about the food they serve.

The role would suit someone who has worked in a busy restaurant, street food kitchen, grill section, QSR, pub kitchen or another high-volume food operation.

What You’ll Do

Prepare fresh ingredients before service
Cook and finish menu items to specification
Work across our grill, fryer, preparation and service sections
Prepare and assemble tacos, burritos, quesadillas, bowls and loaded dishes
Run your section during busy services
Keep your station clean, organised, stocked and ready for service
Work quickly without compromising quality or presentation
Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
Support the team with preparation, deliveries, close-down and daily kitchen tasks
Help us deliver a smooth and successful restaurant opening

What We’re Looking For

Previous kitchen experience
Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
Good basic preparation and cooking skills
A clean and organised approach to work
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Good timekeeping and reliability
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Availability to work evenings and weekends
Availability to complete training before our opening on 15 August
The existing right to work in the UK

You don’t need experience cooking Mexican food. We’ll provide full training on our menu, kitchen systems, portion control and service standards.

What matters most is reliability, pace, cleanliness and attitude.
