Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Estimator / Contracts & Project Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the estimation process, managing contract documentation, and assisting with project coordination. Your energetic approach will help ensure accurate cost assessments, effective contract administration, and smooth project execution. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a collaborative environment committed to excellence and growth.

Duties

Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates by analysing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
Support the Contracts team by managing contract documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date.
Collaborate with project teams to track project progress, monitor costs, and identify potential budget variances.
Contribute to cost control efforts by reviewing expenses and supporting financial reporting activities.
Coordinate communication between clients, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project workflows.
Assist in reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
Support the preparation of bid proposals, tender submissions, and contractual amendments as needed.

Skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates and contract documentation.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
Basic understanding of construction or engineering project processes is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential; experience with project management software is a plus.
Knowledge of cost control principles to support budget management efforts.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
