Job Overview

We are seeking qualified pharmacy dispensers to join our team in Harrow. This role involves providing essential support within the pharmacy environment, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and delivering excellent patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, managing medication supplies, and offering professional advice to patients. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare setting, contributing to the wellbeing of our community. someone who has experience working with robotic dispensing and managing dispensary on its own.

Duties

Dispensing prescriptions accurately under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
Assisting with medication administration and patient counselling
Managing stock levels and ensuring the organisation of medication supplies
Providing advice on over-the-counter medicines and health products
Maintaining precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions
Ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards within the pharmacy environment
Supporting the pharmacy team with administrative tasks as required

Requirements

Proven pharmacy technician experience or relevant qualification recognised within the UK healthcare sector
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
Strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
A recognised qualification in pharmacy services or dispensary practice is desirable but not essential for all roles

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
