Job description:

Reliance Social Housing CIC is a Regulated Provider of social housing, governed by the National Housing Federation (NHF) Code of Governance and committed to compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing’s Governance and Financial Viability Standard (GF&V). Our mission is to provide safe, affordable, and high-quality housing solutions to communities in need, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance within the sector.

Role Overview

A successful candidate will manage a portfolio of properties within our databases and notify providers of mandatory updates. You will also effectively prepare and submit documentation for all pending properties to Birmingham City Council in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

Create Submission paperwork which will be relayed to relevant local authority
Oversee and manage all stages of stock transfer in allocated timeframe
Ensure all work is quality checked, and internal database is updated
Replace cover if any other Case Handler is away due to emergency leave/sickness/annual leave
Report KPI’s and issues to direct manager
Booking properties for inspection
Chasing providers for outstanding documents
Managing onboarding queries
Updating procedures according to external agency requests

Person Specification

Essential:

We are looking for a hardworking and confidential team player who can grow in this role. You are likely to have the following key attributes:

Attention to detail combined with the ability to communicate accurately and clearly.
Strong data entry skills.
Good understanding and practical working knowledge different IT platforms.
Motivated team player with good interpersonal skills critical in a ‘people’ business.
Ability to work independently and within a team.

Desirable:

Data entry (1 year preferred)
Administrative skills (1 year preferred)
Social housing and relevant regulations (preferred)
