About us

Purbeck Ice Cream is a small business is near Wareham in the Isle of Purbeck. We are a family business producing award winning premium Ice Cream and Chocolate with our customer service and satisfaction being paramount.

Our work environment includes:

Duties
- To develop and manage existing customers and generate additional sales, in line with our sales plan, and the agreed annual targets.
- Act as a liaison between the company and customers, addressing any concerns or issues that arise
- Provide product knowledge and support to customers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the company's offerings
- Conduct regular visits to client locations to assess needs and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions
- Attend Purbeck Ice Cream trade events as required, and possibly some weekend events
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or account management roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address client needs and find appropriate solutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned area

This position offers a competitive salary, bonus opportunities and benefits package. As an Area Representative, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients, contribute to their success, and drive business growth. You will be provided with the use of a company vehicle for sales with private mileage, a company laptop with CRM (Act!), a company iPhone with call and data plan.
