Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities through conducting patrols, and implementing loss prevention measures. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and a proactive approach are highly valued.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks.
Monitor premisses and ensure protocols are maintained.
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations, if
Enforce loss prevention policies by observing and reporting suspicious behaviour or theft attempts.
Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes if required
Collaborate with local authorities or emergency services during incidents or investigations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification is desirable.
Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly.
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively.
Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly when needed.
