Join a Growing Courier Business on the Move

We are a small, ambitious courier company experiencing rapid growth and expanding our operations across new territories. To support this exciting phase, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet Manager to take ownership of our vehicle fleet and help build a scalable, efficient transport operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, and making a measurable impact on business performance.

About the Role

As Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management, maintenance, compliance, and optimization of our growing fleet. You will work closely with operations, drivers, and senior management to ensure our vehicles remain safe, reliable, and cost-effective while supporting continued business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the performance, availability, and utilization of the vehicle fleet.
Schedule and oversee vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant transport, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor vehicle costs, fuel consumption, and operational efficiency.
Coordinate vehicle acquisitions, disposals, and fleet expansion planning.
Maintain accurate fleet records, documentation, and reporting systems.
Investigate vehicle incidents and implement corrective actions where required.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, garages, and leasing providers.
Support driver onboarding and promote safe driving practices.
Identify opportunities to improve fleet performance, reduce downtime, and control costs.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in fleet management, transport operations, logistics, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance schedules and fleet compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with fleet management software and Microsoft Office applications.
A data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.
Full driving licence preferred.
