Job summary:

We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and motivated Team leader to front our patient-facing team. You will ensure smooth, efficient, and friendly reception and administration operations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, administrative efficiency, and compliance .This role is ideal for someone with experience as a Reception supervisor or in a similar healthcare supervisory role, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding patient service. This role oversees all aspects of patient services, including reception and administration operations, appointment management and patient access, including digital access.
Available to work shifts across the week starting including 7am starts and finishing 6.00pm

Job responsibilities:

Supporting in the management of staff rota. Manage Cover for Sickness/ absence Leave for team members which includes being able to take a willing and flexible approach in terms of Rota cover.
Assist with organising cover for holidays, sickness and compassionate leave.
Training and Development of reception team.
First point of contact in assisting with patient complaints and concerns following the practice Complaints Procedure.
Provide coaching, training support for all reception staff.
Opening/locking up of practice premises and managing security in line with practice protocols.
Provide IT/phone system support to staff and liaise with providers as needed.
Ensure all team members are up to date with mandatory training and practice policies.
Assisting the Operations Manager with induction of new team members.
Attend team meetings assisting with minutes.
Management to ensure completion of compliance housekeeping logs.
To canvas items for the agenda for discussion at Team Meetings.
Ensure all reception/Admin staff members are compliant with mandatory training.
Providing coaching and training for team members.
Assist with probationary meetings and appraisals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00 per hour
