Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Welcome guests and take their orders in a courteous and efficient manner
Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
Ensure all drinks are served safely, adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment
Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system
Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
Experience in the hospitality industry demonstrates familiarity with customer service expectations and multitasking under pressure
Personal qualities include reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude towards teamwork
