Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our construction site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, particularly in electrical systems, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team and ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently and effectively. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities, managing personnel, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on-site.
Manage site personnel, including subcontractors and labourers, fostering a productive and safe working environment.
Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce health and safety policies to minimise risks.
Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor progress against project timelines, identifying potential delays or issues early and implementing corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety incidents for reporting purposes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

Proven experience in construction site supervision or a similar role within the building industry.
Strong electrical experience is highly desirable; candidates with relevant electrical qualifications or background will be preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to construction sites in the UK.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
