Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our patrons. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food and beverage industry and possess strong interpersonal skills.

This job will be primarily weekend work, however availability through the week will also be needed for cover shifts.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while adhering to food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing assistance and recommendations to enhance their experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible service of alcohol and compliance with licensing laws.
Manage time effectively to fulfil orders promptly during peak hours while maintaining high service standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
A passion for bartending and providing excellent customer service.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and assist colleagues when needed.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
