About the role

The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Team is an in-house service providing the full range of occupational health and wellbeing support to both the Police and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC). The role is based full-time at Police Headquarters, Devizes.

We are a small, friendly, and supportive team with a strong focus on continuous service improvement and development. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to join a professional team dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of our workforce.

What you will be doing

Supporting the Occupational Health Administrator with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Processing Occupational Health referrals.
Scheduling and managing appointments.
Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
Responding to general Occupational Health and Wellbeing enquiries.
Supporting service enhancement and development initiatives.
Assisting with the smooth running of the Occupational Health and Wellbeing service under the supervision of the Occupational Health Administrator.

About you and your experience

Previous significant administrative experience.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Experience working within a medical, healthcare, or occupational health setting would be highly advantageous and those that also meet this requirement will take preference at application review stage.
