Pre Press Artworker

We are a well-established large-format printing company based in Croydon. Having traded for nearly 40 years, we continue to grow and acquired an additional business in 2026. We produce a diverse range of large-format print and display products for customers throughout the UK and overseas.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-focused Pre-Press Artworker to join our busy production department. This is a varied, hands-on role within a small team, reporting directly to the General Manager.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Checking and preparing customer artwork for print.
Using Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator and Photoshop to amend and produce print-ready files.
Liaising with the Sales team and customers to clarify artwork requirements.
Identifying and resolving artwork issues before print.
Sending Proofs to customers.
Creating, updating and maintaining artwork templates.
Processing print ready files through software - (Onyx RIP software).
Operating and maintaining large format digital printing equipment - (Plant - HP R2000, HP800, Roland 640 UV).
Managing multiple jobs while meeting production deadlines.

Qualities we are looking for

Strong knowledge of the Adobe Suite of design products.
Experience preparing large format print artwork.
Ability to work on multiple projects whilst adhering to deadlines.
Great attention to detail.
Well organised and can manage and prioritise workload.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Willingness to get involved and work as part of a team.
Pre-press, print artwork: 1 year (preferred)

Previous experience operating large-format printers or using ONYX RIP software would be an advantage, but training can be provided.

Salary: Depending on capability and experience
