Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Hygiene Administrator to join the Symclean team at a major food production factory in Skelmersdale.

In this vital role, you will oversee the coordination and management of hygiene-related administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within our facilities. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, compliance, and record-keeping. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a safe and hygienic environment while developing your administrative expertise in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Manage scheduling and documentation of hygiene inspections, audits, and cleaning routines
Maintain accurate records of hygiene activities using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Excel
Coordinate communication between cleaning staff, management, and external vendors via phone and email with professional etiquette
Organize and update hygiene compliance files, reports, and logs efficiently
Assist in inventory management for hygiene supplies and equipment
Support the implementation of hygiene protocols by preparing training materials and tracking staff completion
Ensure timely follow-up on maintenance requests or issues related to hygiene standards
Record non -conformances
Update electronic hygiene data bases
liaise with all other departments

Qualifications

Prior office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail and business qualifications
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry tools
Administrative experience with familiarity in clerical tasks such as filing, scheduling, and record keeping
Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
Ability to type quickly and accurately for data entry purposes
Experience working with CRM systems
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desirable; food safety level2 or above
HACCP awareness

Experience
