Receptionist – Full-Time

Location: Hustyn Hotel, Cornwall
Salary: £29,500 – £31,500 per year

We are looking for a professional, friendly, and well-presented Receptionist to join our team at Hustyn Hotel, Cornwall.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an excellent first impression to our guests, handling reception duties, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner
Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
Manage guest reservations, bookings, and enquiries
Answer telephone calls and respond to emails professionally
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
Handle guest requests and resolve queries or concerns promptly
Maintain accurate guest records and ensure all reception procedures are followed
Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations
Process payments and maintain accurate records
Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and presentable at all times

Requirements:

Previous experience in hotel reception, front office, or reservations is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, confident, and well-presented appearance
Good customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel reservation systems
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexible approach to working rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Previous hospitality experience will be an advantage
