Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Hotel Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support the management of financial transactions, ensure accurate data entry, and assist with accounts payable processes. Your enthusiasm and precision will help maintain the financial health of our hotel operations, contributing to a seamless guest experience and efficient administrative workflow. Duties

Manage accounts payable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and ensuring timely vendor settlements using accounting procidure
Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions into systems
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate records
Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Support audit preparations by organizing financial documents and ensuring compliance with company policies
Monitor and record expenses related to hotel operations, ensuring proper categorization and documentation
Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to streamline invoice processing and improve overall efficiency

Experience

Prior experience working with Hotel accounting processes
Familiarity with accounts payable procedures and financial data entry practices within the hospitality or service industry
Knowledge of financial services processes including invoice verification, reconciliation, and reporting
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to adapt quickly to new software platforms like Workday or Data entry systems used in hotel finance operations
Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and resolve discrepancies efficiently
