Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de Partie (seasonal) to join our culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in culinary arts who thrive in fast-paced settings and are eager to develop their skills further.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in the organisation and management of the section during service
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality, presentation, and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Follow food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
Support meal preparation for special events or seasonal menus as required
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to the head chef

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate within a team
Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential for highly motivated candidates
Serving experience is beneficial, demonstrating an understanding of customer service standards
