Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to support the management team at a vibrant pub, hotel, and wedding venue. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. The successful candidate will possess strong management skills, a background in hospitality, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest services. This position is ideal for someone looking to advance their career within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations across the pub, hotel, and wedding venue.
Lead and motivate staff to deliver high standards of service and hospitality.
Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining excellent customer service standards and resolving any issues promptly.
Coordinate event planning and execution for weddings and private functions, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish.
Manage staff rotas, training schedules, and performance appraisals to optimise team efficiency.
Monitor health and safety compliance throughout the premises, implementing best practices at all times.
Support financial management tasks such as budgeting, stock control, and sales reporting.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests and clients while maintaining professional relationships with suppliers and partners.

Experience

Proven experience in management within the hospitality sector, ideally encompassing pubs, hotels, or event venues.
Strong knowledge of guest services principles with a focus on delivering memorable experiences.
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Previous experience in event coordination or wedding venue management is advantageous.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent communication skills.

Pay: Up to £34,000.00 per year
