Job Overview

Join our dynamic finance team as an Accountant, where your expertise will drive accurate financial management and support our organization’s growth. Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and reconciliations with precision and clarity
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to record and process financial transactions
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data
Mentor junior team members in accounting best practices and software usage to promote professional growth
Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies across all accounting activities

Experience

Proven experience in financial accounting within the financial services sector or related industries
Hands-on proficiency with popular accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft or equivalent systems
Strong understanding of financial management principles such as budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Experience managing accounts payable processes and supporting overall financial operations
Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and foster a collaborative team environment
Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in recordkeeping and reporting
