Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Receptionist to be the welcoming face of Energy Concerns Ltd. In this vital role, you'll be the first point of contact for homeowners looking to transition to solar, air conditioning, battery storage, and EV chargers — handling enquiries, booking in appointments, and keeping track of customers and quotes through the process. Your positive attitude and organisational skills will help create a professional, reassuring experience for every customer who gets in touch. Sales experience would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Handle all inbound calls, speaking with customers about their enquiries
Help homeowners understand our solar, air con, battery storage, and EV charger services
Book customers in for consultations and manage the diary
Manage day-to-day operations and keep everything organised
Manage customer pipelines, keeping track of enquiries and quotes from first contact through to completion
Sort admin and paperwork, maintaining organised records of correspondence and customer details
Perform data entry accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks as needed
Ensure every customer feels looked after and leaves happy
Assist with basic bookkeeping duties and keep databases accurate and up to date

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Sales experience highly desirable
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive), and QuickBooks
Excellent phone etiquette and clear, professional communication
Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and document preparation
Previous administrative experience with clerical tasks and data management
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Comfortable operating office equipment such as printers, scanners, and phones
