Full job description

Web Developer

Job Location: Telford

Salary: £30K to £40K DOE - plus Company Package.

Start Date: ASAP – Full time role.

As our company continues to grow, we’re looking for 2 experienced skilled Web Developers to join our busy head office team in Telford. The right candidate should have between 1 to 3 years experience, can build features independently has the capable of growing into owning entire portals/projects within 6 months.

Requirements for the Role:

Good working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern web development practices
Experience building applications using Node.js and React
Experience contributing to or building full-stack web applications
Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend concepts
Experience working with databases (e.g. MongoDB, SQL Server, or similar)
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
Comfortable working across both frontend and backend
Experience using Git for version control
Understanding of application security practices (authentication, handling user data)
Ability to take ownership of features and progress them through to completion
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning
Experience integrating third-party APIs and services

Nice to Have:

Experience deploying applications or exposure to hosting environments
Familiarity with Linux-based servers
Exposure to tools such as NGINX, APACHE, PM2, or similar
Experience with Docker and containerised applications
Understanding of environment configuration (dev/test/production)
Awareness of application performance considerations
Experience with LAMP stack
