Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and experienced Live- in carer to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in care and a strong understanding of the unique needs of clients, particularly those with dementia, physical disability requiring equipment for transfers, palliative care. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and comfort in their own homes.

Please note there is No sponsorship for this role. Candidate should have right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health.
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Support clients with mobility and transfers as per their moving and handling plan.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary.
Assist with grocery shopping where required

Experience

Previous experience in live-in caregiving
Have access to your own vehicle and full UK driving license
Knowledge of dementia care practices
Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
Moving and handling training and ability to support clients with physical mobility challenges.
A caring attitude with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
Certification in first aid or CPR is advantageous
