Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Designer Officer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative architectural projects, combining creative design with technical expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed architectural plans, collaborating with clients and contractors, and ensuring project specifications are met with precision. A strong background in design software and construction processes is essential to excel in this position.

Duties

Develop comprehensive architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and SketchUp.
Prepare detailed drawings and visualisations to communicate design concepts effectively.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project requirements are accurately interpreted and implemented.
Conduct negotiations with stakeholders to align project objectives and resolve design or technical issues.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met through effective project management skills.
Oversee joinery details and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality standards are maintained during construction.
Utilise Adobe Creative Suite for presentation purposes and colour rendering.
Assist in the realisation of designs from initial concept through to construction documentation.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Requirements

Proven experience in architectural design or related fields, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, CAD programmes, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong knowledge of construction processes and joinery techniques.
Excellent negotiation skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Experience in project management to oversee multiple phases of design development efficiently
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills coupled with excellent communication abilities.
