Job Title:

Landscape Operative – Fencing, Paving & Garden Work (Self-Employed)

Location: Bradford & surrounding areas

Pay: £150–£180 per day depending on experience, reliability and quality of work

Job Type: Self-Employed / Subcontract

About the Role

MJ Landscapes is looking for a self-employed landscape operative to assist with a range of domestic landscaping and garden improvement projects.

Work includes fencing, paving, decking, garden repairs and other landscaping tasks.

You will mainly be working alongside the business owners on domestic landscaping projects.

There may also be occasional garden maintenance work depending on workload.

All work is carried out using company van, tools and equipment provided.

Typical Duties

Fence installation and repairs
Flagging and paving work
Decking installation
Garden improvements and repairs
Site preparation and groundwork
Assisting with general landscaping projects

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

Is self-employed
Has experience in fencing, paving, decking or landscaping
Produces good quality finishes
Has a full UK driving licence (required to drive company van)
Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in their work
Works well as part of a small team
Is reliable and punctual

Experience with groundwork or machinery is beneficial but not essential.

Working Day

Typical working hours are 7:45am – 4:30pm, depending on the project.

Operatives are expected to arrive around 7:30am to load tools and prepare the van before leaving for site.

Work Available

Flexible days depending on project workload.
