Job Title: Legal Support Administrator

Pay: £25,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Hybrid; On-site in Winnersh Triangle (RG41 5TP) 3 days per week

We are now seeking Legal Support Administrators to join our growing Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in the legal profession while supporting clients and making a meaningful difference to people from all walks of life.

The Role

Our administrators support our Family Law team in progressing client matters and legal aid applications. Responsibilities include:

Answering incoming client calls and enquiries in a professional and confidential manner
Assisting clients with Legal Aid applications and conducting eligibility assessments in line with Legal Aid Agency requirements
Drafting basic legal documents and correspondence under supervision
Opening and maintaining client files on the case management system and preparing documentation for court
Ensure files and records are maintained in accordance with firm procedures
Liaising with clients, courts and external agencies where required
Providing administrative support to solicitors and fee earners
Opportunities to shadow fee earners at court and observe hearings
Undertaking general administrative duties related to the role

Experience (Essential)

A Law degree
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Good organisational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
A team player who can work on own initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Proficient in LEAP or other case management systems
Previous experience working in a legal environment
Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
