Full job description

The Village Inn is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed.
Restocking cleaning supplies and kitchen equipment as needed.
Supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Following all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.

Requirements

A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Previous kitchen porter or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
