Job description:

Flamingo Marketing Strategies was founded in June 2019 and has grown from a back-bedroom startup into a budding team of eight, working from an office with scenic views just outside Leamington Spa.

We are looking for a highly skilled Creative Executive to support us as we continue to grow. This role will be full-time and will cover graphic design, photography, videography and editing.

As a Creative Executive, your responsibilities will include:

Creating and delivering creative assets across print, digital and social media channels
Developing design work from initial brief through to final artwork and production
Supporting the creation of campaign concepts and visual ideas across multiple client accounts
Producing social media content, including static and video assets
Editing video content for digital platforms
Assisting with photography and video shoots
Preparing print-ready artwork and liaising with printers/suppliers when needed
Working collaboratively with the wider team

The following skills are required:

Highly proficient working across the core Adobe Creative Suite applications: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Experience using Canva
Comfortable working across different brands
Familiar with a range of design disciplines, including print design, social media and digital
Strong typographic and layout design skills
High level of creativity and willingness to bring new ideas to the table
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring designed documents are accurate and understandable
Ability to work under direction and independently to drive projects from brief to delivery, including set-up and supply of print-ready artwork
Photography
Videography
Video editing, ideally using Adobe Premiere
Confidence to work alongside other designers with excellent communication skills
Understanding of commercial/client needs with client/project management and presentation skills and a will to want to do more, building relationships with clients
Ability to manage time across multiple projects and often competing deadlines

These skills and experience are desirable, but not essential, though a willingness to learn would be a plus:

Understanding of post types, artwork and video formats across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, as well as ad media
Logo and brand design and development
Experience developing relationships with printers and other suppliers, including sourcing quotes and managing jobs through to print
Experience creating artwork for merch items
Animation, using Adobe After Effects

About us

Flamingo Marketing Strategies Ltd. is a marketing agency based just outside Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. We currently work with around 20 clients from a variety of industries. We are a ‘done for you’ marketing agency that covers everything from strategy and content creation to email marketing, social media, video production and everything in between. We have an office on Banbury Road, close to the M40, A46 and town centres including Warwick, Leamington Spa, Solihull, and Stratford-upon-Avon. We all work in the office Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm. We do not offer any hybrid working.

As our creative executive, you will need to be great at:

Working in a busy, fast-moving agency environment
Time management and the ability to juggle multiple tasks/client work at once (able to prioritise tasks effectively under challenging – and often competing – deadlines)
Working as part of a team with a desire to learn new skills
Strong communication and good interpersonal skills, having the confidence to liaise directly with our clients (either face-to-face or over video calls, phone calls, and emails)
Strong written English with a passion for writing and a keen eye for detail
Supporting the team with their day-to-day tasks
Great at building relationships with the team and clients
Learning new skills and wanting to improve on what you already know

6-month probation period
Holiday allowance: 20 days PLUS bank holidays (loyalty scheme to reach 25 days) PLUS Christmas closedown extra holiday (not taken out of your allowance if targets are met)

Education:
