Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, promoting relaxation, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall well-being. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills in a calming environment while delivering exceptional customer service. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about health and holistic care.

Duties

Conduct personalised massage sessions based on client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and other therapeutic techniques.
Assess client requirements and develop customised treatment plans to optimise benefits.
Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment area in accordance with hygiene standards and health regulations.
Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
Provide advice on self-care practices and recommend suitable products or follow-up treatments.
Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained properly before each session.
Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and client privacy at all times.

Qualifications

recognised certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
Proven experience in delivering various massage techniques preferred but not essential; training can be provided for specific modalities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Strong organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to massage therapy environments.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings or weekends if required.
