NOTE: We are a small cafe and limited staff, please no time wasters as we have to get an extra person to cover for the interview. Thank you.

West End Farm Cafe is a small establishment located within West End Farm Stables in Warfield, Bracknell. The cafe serves a variety of dishes, including English breakfasts, sandwiches, baps, baguettes, jacket potatoes, omelettes, toasties, paninis, chips, wraps, baked goods, and a selection of coffees.

5 - 6 Days required to work: Weekdays and Weekends, Bank Holidays except Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Operating Hours:

Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Start Work 7:30am or later shift)

Sunday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (may change till 4:00 PM in the future) (Start work 9:30am)

We are seeking a versatile Cafe All-Around Staff to join our small, close-knit team. Given our limited staff, the ideal candidate will be adaptable and willing to engage in all aspects of cafe operations, including customer service, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises. Prior experience minimum 1 year in cafes, restaurants, or kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and welcome patrons upon arrival.

Take orders and accurately enter them into the ordering system.

Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and friendly manner.

Handle cash and process payments accurately using EPOS.

Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Food Preparation:

Assist in preparing a variety of dishes, including English breakfasts, sandwiches, paninis, and baked goods.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Ensure food items are prepared according to menu standards and customer preferences.

Cleaning and Sanitation:

Maintain high standards of hygiene by cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment.

Wash dishes, glassware, and utensils, ensuring they are stored appropriately.

Sweep, mop, and scrub floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Dispose of rubbish and manage waste disposal in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Clean restrooms and restock supplies as necessary.

Operational Support:

Assist in restocking shelves and fridges with supplies.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations.

Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus.
