Job Advert: Receptionist – Chamberlain Clinic

Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Permanent

Role Overview: We are seeking a professional, friendly, and efficient Receptionist to be the welcoming face of Chamberlain Clinic during weekday evenings. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and supporting smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a warm, professional welcome to patients and visitors.
Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and bookings using our clinic management software.
Process payments, book follow-up appointments, and handle referrals.
Respond efficiently to queries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in patient record management in line with GDPR.
Keep the reception area tidy, professional, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
Support administrative tasks, including filing, supply ordering, correspondence, and drafting letters.
Adhere strictly to clinic health and safety policies, reporting any hazards to the General Manager.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Prior experience in a reception or customer-facing role.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with clinic management software.
Strong organisational abilities with proven multitasking skills.
High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality.

Desirable:

Previous experience within a healthcare environment.
Knowledge of GDPR regulations.
First aid certification.
