Are you looking for a seasonal job, with weekly pay, in a fabulous part of the country?
Then why not join our retail teams in Bodmin, working across all three Bodmin shops.

Malcolm Barnecutt Bakery is recruiting for a Seasonal Shop Assistant to join our teams in Bodmin. Working every other Sunday in our Bodmin Cabin, 8:30am to 3pm, and at least one other day working out of either our Walker Lines shop or our Guildhall shop.

This is a seasonal position until September 2026, on a fixed term basis, working approximately 16 hours each week as a minimum.

Daily duties will include the following:

Serving customers in polite and professional manner
Organising food displays ready for sale
Compliance with food hygiene and quality standards at all times
Keeping customer dining areas clean
Other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the shop

As a person you will require the following qualities:

Excellent communication skills
Be reliable and punctual
Be flexible with shifts to help provide cover during holidays and sickness
Ability to work well in a team
Enthusiastic and hardworking
