About The Role:

Shift Pattern: 5 from 7, including bank holidays to include 07.00-15.00 and 14.00-22.00 on 4 week rota shift

The Maintenance Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of Alton Tower's Hotels.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance duties across the site, both internally and externally.
Provide hands-on support for plumbing, electrical, and decoration service.
Oversee the site's Building Management System (BMS), ensuring compliance with safety and energy-saving initiatives.
Respond professionally to customer queries and complaints, acting as an ambassador for the company.
Use a tablet system to log, track, and complete tasks efficiently.
Support the Site Manager in daily operations and the wider team in maintaining smooth on-site operations.

What You Need to Succeed

Previous experience in a maintenance or handyperson role.
Level 2 qualification in a relevant trade (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC, or Building Maintenance)
You must have right to work in the UK, and live locally
Strong technical skills with the ability to handle a variety of tasks.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
