Full job description

Job Overview (Full Training Provided)

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative / Machine Operator to join our growing team. This role is an important part of our small business and involves operating our candy bagging machine and multihead weigher to package sweets efficiently and accurately.

You will also be responsible for recording batch numbers and following strict hygiene and food safety procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor bagging machinery to ensure efficient production

Carry out basic machine maintenance and report or troubleshoot issues where required

Accurately record batch numbers and production information

Follow all hygiene, food safety, and health & safety procedures

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Assist with warehouse duties including stock handling and packing orders

Requirements

Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately

Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to machinery issues

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude and willingness to support different areas of the business

Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness

As we are a small team, you will also be expected to assist with other areas of the business, including packing customer and Amazon orders when required.
