Fancy being part of something a little bit different?

We're Gelato Gusto, a family-run business making proper Italian-style artisan gelato & sorbet from our production kitchen in the Sussex countryside.

Over the years we've picked up 22 Great Taste Awards, a Golden Fork Award for London & the South East, and were proud winners of the London & South East Team Gelato Festival World Masters and European Finalists. After 12 successful years serving customers directly through our retail shops, we've shifted our focus to wholesale, supplying our award-winning gelato to restaurants, cafés, hotels and businesses across the South.

As we head into our busiest season, we're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Artisan Gelato Production Assistant to support our Gelato Chef and help keep production running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

· Supporting the Gelato Chef with daily gelato and sorbet production

· Preparing ingredients and weighing recipes accurately

· Assisting with kitchen preparation and cleaning duties

· Packing and labelling products ready for dispatch

· Washing equipment and maintaining high hygiene standards

· Helping with stock rotation and ingredient organisation

· Keeping the production kitchen clean, safe and well organised

· Supporting seasonal production demands and new product launches

What We're Looking For

· Enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen or food production environment

· Takes pride in doing things properly and paying attention to detail

· Reliable, punctual and hardworking

· Able to follow instructions accurately

· Happy carrying out both preparation and cleaning tasks

· Works well as part of a small team

· Positive, can-do attitude

· Previous kitchen, bakery, catering or food production experience preferred but not essential

Full training will be provided.
