Full job description

Clipper Marine is seeking an experienced Boat Cleaner / Valeter / Detailer to maintain our stock of new and used power and sail boats to the highest standards and prepare them for handover to clients.

As the exclusive UK distributor for Bavaria power and sail boats, Bali Catamarans, Greenline Yachts and Regal Boats, we pride ourselves on presenting every vessel in immaculate condition. Our clients expect perfection, so we are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will be required to work at other Clipper Marine offices and other locations to support boat preparation, commissioning, handovers and customer events. A full UK driving licence is therefore essential.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning, valeting and detailing new and used boats to a high standard.
Preparing vessels for customer handovers.
Assisting with the commissioning of new boats.
Supporting sea trials and boat demonstrations.
Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of boats and associated work areas.
Identifying and reporting any defects or maintenance issues discovered during cleaning and preparation.

Requirements:

Previous experience in boat valeting and detailing is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Presentable appearance and good communication skills.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Full UK driving licence required.
