Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper/groundworker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Installation of patios, driveways and other enhancements in outdoor environments, ensuring high standards of work. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors, utilise a variety of tools and machinery, and contribute to the visual appeal of commercial and residential properties.

Duties

Installation of porcelain and natural stone paving.
Operate mechanical equipment such as excavators and other power tools safely and efficiently
Set out levels and new sites
Use hand tools for digging out.
Assist with construction projects related to landscape development and hardscaping
Maintain equipment through routine servicing and repairs to ensure operational efficiency
Support in the construction of outdoor spaces.
Follow health and safety procedures during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to garden machinery and power tools
Ability to operate specialised equipment such as excavators and dumpers
Competence in using hand tools for various landscaping tasks
Knowledge of construction techniques relevant to landscape development
Strong understanding of gardening principles and horticultural practices
Physical fitness to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions
A valid driver’s licence is desirable for transporting equipment or materials
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining high standards of work

Pay: From £200.00 per day
