We're now looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our leadership team. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering consistently outstanding food, developing the kitchen team and helping shape the next stage of our exciting journey.

The Opportunity

As Senior Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef in leading a professional kitchen focused on quality, consistency and teamwork.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help deliver excellent food across breakfast, lunch, dinner, weddings, events and private dining while maintaining the highest operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Lead kitchen operations during service and in the Head Chef's absence.
Prepare and present high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and cleanliness.
Coach, mentor and support junior members of the kitchen team.
Assist with menu development, seasonal specials and new dishes.
Manage stock rotation, ordering and food cost awareness.
Help minimise waste while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food hygiene and Health & Safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with front-of-house teams to deliver an excellent guest experience.

About You

We're looking for a chef who is passionate, organised and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
Experience working with fresh food in a busy kitchen.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A good understanding of HACCP and food safety legislation.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to remain calm under pressure.
A positive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy trading periods.
